A single Pre K - 12 Complex

The $27,995,000 bond will create a single PreK - 12 complex under one roof by adding onto the high school and tearing down the existing elementary and middle schools. Seperate entrances, interior design, and scheduling will provide seperation by age groups.

New construction will provide:

• Elementary and middle school classrooms, offices, and secure entries

• Elementary support spaces for speech services, counseling, special education, and services needing confidential conference or service space

• PE classroom with locker rooms, restrooms, and concessions built adjacent to the football field

• Storm shelter in the building that is ADA accessible for all students and staff

• Connections between new construction to existing district office, library, and cafeteria building

• High school office with secure entry

Renovation:

• High school classrooms and science labs to redistribute square footage, upgrade electrical service, and update interior finishes

• High school restrooms adjacent to existing gym and auditorium for ADA accessibility and expanded capacity

• Renovation of existing high school office area to be used as classroom space

Site Improvements:

• Student drop-off lanes and parking lots in areas created by demolition of elementary and middle schools
