OHS will be using Sign Up Genious to schedule spring parent teacher conferences. Texts to students and parents will be sent out by class level will come out later today to sign up.

Friendly Reminder, OHS families! Just a reminder that Oakley High School Juniors and Seniors will have the opportunity to enroll in career and technical programs through Fort Hays Tech Northwest at Goodland this Fall. These classes will be paid for by the state of Kansas. An informational meeting will be held February 10th at 6pm at the Oakley High School Auditorium. Please reach out with any questions! HS Basketball Games: There has been a schedule change on the HS Basketball games tyoday, February 3rd in St Francis. There will only be 2 quarters JV Boys game, No JV Girls game but Full Varsity Girls & Boys games. The games will now start at 5 PM.

HS Basketball Games on Monday, February 2nd . Please note the game sequence change. Varsity Boys will play at 6 and the Varsity Girls will play after.
V/JV Basketball (Oakley Plainsmen vs. Dighton Hornets)
Date/Time: February 2, 2026 @ 4:30 PM CST
Location: Oakley High School (118 W. 7th St.)
Game Schedule: All games will be played at the high school gym starting @ 4:30 PM CST.

JV Boys game at the high school gym starting @ 4:30 PM CST.
● Full JV boys - 10 minute warm-up, 8 minute quarters, 5 minute half time.
Boys & Girls Varsity games at the high school gym starting @ 6:00 PM CST.
● We will play varsity boys first followed by varsity girls.
● Varsity boys - 15 minute warm-up, 8 minute quarters, 10 minute half time.
● Varsity girls - 15 minute warm-up, 8 minute quarters, 10 minute half time.

Parents, if you have a child who will be in grades 9–12 during the upcoming academic year, please plan to attend an informational meeting with representatives from Fort Hays Tech | Northwest in Goodland. Oakley High School will be implementing the Early College Program through NW Tech. Through this program, students can earn—or work toward—an associate degree in one of eight college programs, with tuition paid for by the state of Kansas. The meeting will be held on February 10 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

MCL Art Painting Day: 4 Seniors participated in the MCL Art Paint-In Day at Ellis. The students were given the theme of Nature. They had from 9 to 12 Noon to create their vision as a team. Their aurora bosealis over mountain scene turned out great! Great job Students. Way to represent the Plainsmen!

Plainsmen"s Got Talent! Tuesday, February 10th, we will be hosting Plainsmen’s Got Talent!
Students PK–12 and their families are all welcome to sign up for a time to showcase their talent. This is a non-judged event, just for fun and celebration of our Plainsmen community.
